South Shore & Penn State Graduate and 2012 Olympic Hopeful
My hope is this message is reaching you in great health and good spirits. As some of you may know, I have changed training locations to Orlando, Florida. I train the ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex with a group of Olympic Medalists, World and American Record holders under the tutelage 2010 Coach of the Year, Brooks Johnson.

While my ultimate goal is to win a GOLD medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, I find it particularly important to alert you of an important stop along my journey. In 2 weeks is the USA Track & Field Olympic Trials at University of Oregon in Eugene.  I will be competing in the 100 & 200 meters at the Olympic Trials, with hopes of securing my place on the 2012 Olympic Team.

I won the 2010 200m National title with your support and I am calling upon it again. Below you will find resources where you can track my progress from this meet.

Fri. June 22: 100m (Trials: 6:00 PM)
Sat  June 23: 100m (Semi-Finals are: 3:40 PM;
Finals are: 5:52 PM)
Th. June 28: 200m (Trials: 6:45 PM)
Fri. June 29: 200m (Semi-Finals: 3:00pm)
Sat June 30: 200m (Finals: 6:00 pm)

The Olympic Trials will also be televised on NBC. Please double- check your local listings for show times in your area.

My quest to be an Olympic Gold Medalist is an especially difficult one. In fact, just making the Olympic Team has been labeled the Most Difficult team in the world to make. Without the help and support from you, I wouldn’t have won so many NCAA collegiate titles at Penn State; I would not have made the Olympic Team in 2004 and go on to win my first National Title at 200 meters.
