Country Club Hills, Il., September 19, 2011. The Hillcrest Girls Cross Country Team finished in 2nd place in the powerful fifteen team field that featured six 2010 state qualifying teams. The top four teams were separated by only four points!

The Hawks had three runners in the top ten and two other runners winning medals. Brittany Letts (senior) led the way finishing in second place, Delvina Harris (junior) third place, and Joann Weddington (senior) sixth place. Other medal winners included Kiya James eighteenth place and Nikki Atwood twenty eighth place.

The Fresh/Soph level finished in fifth place. Leading the way for the Hawks were medal winners Adetutu Talabi, Alexandria Hill, Connie McGee, Sandra Horta, and Taranji Stephens. Great Job Hawks!
